Maia Mum’s C-Smooth Silicone Scar Tape is here to improve the look and feel of your c-section scar. No two scars are the same length, and so we thought what better way than to have a roll of silicone to customize the length that you prefer because it's all about you Mama!

Silicone scar tape is a non-invasive method of improving and reducing the appearance and feel of your c-section scar. Our tape is transparent to suit all skin tones. It is self-adhesive, reusable, and made of medical-grade silicone to help hydrate and protect your scar while being both flexible and breathable on the skin. It works to help treat and reduce redness and discomfort while reducing the visibility of your scar.

Reuse each patch up to seven times. And yes this can be left on 24/7... even in the shower because they are totally waterproof!


Before using:  Do not apply oils/creams directly before use. If you are also using our Revive-It Scar Cream please wait at least 30 mins or until it has absorbed in and your skin is nice and dry again. Recommended to wait until incision is healed before using. Use from 6 weeks post C-section if your incision wound has healed. Please see packaging for more information.

Cleaning: Wash with cold soapy water only.

This tape is amazing! 10/10 re

This tape is amazing and much better than the one I bought from the chemist warehouse for my first c section. I have a massive scar due to complications and the fact you can cut it to the size you need is sooo good! It's also really thin and flexible so much more comfortable than other brands I've tried ❤️❤️

Best value for $$ and also works for other scars

Absolutely love this scar tape - it's by far the best value for money that I could find in NZ! I'm actually using it on my ACL / knee surgery scars - it's particularly good for the scar on the inside bend of my knee that needs a bit of extra support to take the tension off the scar. I just cut it to the right width and length. Also works really well to re-use, I just wash it with my gentle foamy hand soap and rinse off, shake off the water, and stick it to the inside of my arm a couple times to get the excess water off the sticky side (easier than getting towel fluff on it!). Because my knee moves a lot I find the tape lifts up at the ends, so I use some paper surgical tape (from the bandage section at chemist warehouse) to hold it down at the ends, just making sure I avoid the area when moisturising my legs so the tape sticks. Definitely would recommend!

Excellent!!!!

I got the scar tape from here and everything about the experience was great. Already seeing results with the product after two weeks of continuous use. Love this product!

I have been using this for a few months and love it! looked at other brands but were so expensive i couldn’t justify it. So glad I came across Maia Mum and thought i’d try this first and definitely such a good price for the amount you get! will be purchasing again x
